How I work
My humanistic approach stems from a belief that every human being is unique and views the world in an individual way. I work with people in the “here and now” while paying attention to their past and the impact that has had on them as individuals. This could include childhood experiences or learnt values and relationship patterns. The aim is to encourage understanding and an enhanced awareness of the choices and values that can be made to enable empowerment. I offer my clients a safe and confidential non-judgemental environment, in which they can explore their personal concerns.

Support for Schools, Colleges and Businesses
I support school going young people from 11–16-year-olds with family issues, school issues, relationships, eating disorders, self-harm and gender identity related support.
I have worked at a hospice supporting families and individuals with terminal illnesses, additionally supporting their loved ones too.
Walk and talk therapy
I understand not everybody finds it easy to be based in a room and may feel more comfortable being outdoors in nature; therefore, I offer walking therapy,
You talk while walking side by side with myself, the sessions are structured like regular therapy, just mobile and the pace is usually relaxed.
If you have a fury friend with four legs, you may like to bring them with you, as long as you feel it is helpful rather than a distraction.
The advantage of being outdoors creates a calm space for opening up and is very beneficial, for people experiencing anxiety, stress and moderate depression.
Please be mindful it is weather permitting.
